Inbetween playing cover gigs and developing his position in the Brisbane covers scene, plus taking on other music related projects and opporunities as they arise, Mark has from time has been checking in on his original music slowly simmering away on the back burner, writing and recording original material whenever possible and/or inspired.
Influenced by a wealth of musical genres, Mark's music while maintaining solid rock foundations, carry traces of many of these styles throughout his original material. With songs crafted from simple acoustic story telling purity through to catchy guitar driven riffs, Mark's music crosses over to a number of genres including pop, rock, alternate, folk and country to name a few, and has been likened to a blend of world renown artists.
Whether performing solo or with any of his originals project line-ups (from duo to a full band production), Mark gives a performance to reinforce those suggested likenesses showing all the qualities one would expect from a professional performing artist.
His debut EP "Otherside" was well received gaining some overseas interest in the UK, plus Mark has seen a few other original tracks featured amoung a handful of compilations albums to date, and although he hasn't released a tonne of stuff, with plenty of material awaiting, it is just a matter of time before there'll be plans to release more.
